Teens Taekwondo (Ages 13–17)

A program built for where teens actually are — focus, resilience, and self-respect, taught by a GrandMaster who takes them seriously.

What your child will gain

  • Real sparring and forms training
  • Strength and conditioning for growing bodies
  • Leadership opportunities (helping younger students)
  • Mental discipline that translates to school
  • Drug- and screen-free community
  • Belt advancement on real standards

Teens are not little kids and they’re not adults — and at Master Pius Martial Arts, they get a program built for exactly where they are. The Teens class meets the developmental moment head-on: bodies are changing, identities are forming, and the noise of school and screens is louder than it’s ever been. Taekwondo gives teens a place where the only voice that matters is the one that says, “show up, do the work, get better.”

GrandMaster Pius Ilukhor leads every class personally. Training is real — fast-paced sparring drills, sharp forms, conditioning that builds actual strength, and the kind of mental discipline that translates directly to grades, sports, and self-respect. Teens learn to take a hit and stay composed. They learn to lead a warm-up and run a line of younger students. They learn what it feels like to be trusted with responsibility — and to live up to it.

The result isn’t a teenager who can break a board (though they can). It’s a teenager who walks into a room with their shoulders back and their head up, because they’ve earned the right to. Parents notice the change in the first six weeks. Teachers notice it by the end of the term.

What parents say

"Master Pius Martial Arts is not only the leading Taekwondo school in the Sandy Springs area but also a staple in the community. This school inspires its students to reach their highest potential and make real friends while enjoying a sport that teaches fitness, technique, and agility. Taekwondo is not just a sport here — it is a way of life, and the kids learn the five tenets: etiquette, modesty, perseverance, self-control, and indomitable spirit."

— Adaeze

"Master Pius is the best place I ever took my kids. The discipline, the manners, the respect — and the kids have fun. If you want a place where your child learns good manners and real respect, take them to Master Pius. You will never regret it. Best martial arts school we've found."
