Frequently Asked Questions
Everything families want to know before signing up. Can't find your answer? Just give us a call.
01. What age can my child start?
Our Kids program begins at age 5 and runs through 12. Teens are 13–17 and Adults are 18+. Younger children (age 4) may be accommodated case-by-case after a brief chat with GrandMaster Pius — every child works at the level that's right for their age and attention.
02. Do I need any prior experience?
No experience required — for any age group. Beginner classes start from zero and build at a comfortable pace. Most of our students had never set foot on a mat before their first class with GrandMaster Pius.
03. What should we wear to the trial class?
Just comfortable athletic clothes — sweatpants or shorts and a t-shirt are perfect. No need to bring a uniform; we provide everything for the trial. Please remove shoes before stepping onto the mat — that's a traditional Taekwondo courtesy and we hold to it.
04. How long is each class?
Kids classes are 45 minutes. Teen and adult classes run 60 minutes. Every class includes a structured warm-up, technique instruction, drilling, and a cool-down — all led directly by GrandMaster Pius.
05. What happens if my child doesn't like it after the trial?
No hard feelings and zero pressure. The free trial is designed to let your child experience a real class with no obligation. If it's not the right fit right now, we'll say so honestly too.
06. Are makeup classes available if we miss a session?
Yes. Active students can attend any equivalent class during the same week as a makeup. Just let us know in advance so we can reserve a spot.
