About Master Pius Martial Arts
A Sandy Springs dojo, GrandMaster-led for over 20 years. We believe traditional Taekwondo, taught with patience and seriousness, shapes the kind of people communities are built on.
Our story
GrandMaster Pius Ilukhor, an 8th-degree black belt, opened Master Pius Martial Arts in Sandy Springs more than two decades ago with one belief: that traditional Taekwondo — taught with discipline, respect, and real attention to each student — changes lives, not just bodies.
In the years since, generations of Sandy Springs families have come through these doors. Kids who started here at five have come back as parents themselves. That continuity — and the trust it represents — is the school we've built.
What we believe
Respect
From day one, students learn to respect their instructors, their peers, and themselves. It travels with them off the mat.
Discipline
Consistent effort beats raw talent. We teach students to show up, do the work, and trust the process — habits that hold long after their last belt test.
Community
"It takes a village to raise a child." Parents become friends. Students become each other's biggest supporters. The school IS the community.

8th-dan Taekwondo · Founder & Head Instructor
GrandMaster Pius has spent his life on the mat. As an 8th-degree black belt, he doesn't outsource the teaching — every class, every belt test, every moment that matters in a student's progression happens with him in the room. That direct, personal mentorship is what families come for, and it's what they get.
